Local Market Brokerage, Inc. is a California real estate brokerage corporation. It gives one agent in each city every lead in it, the desk that works them, and a 90/10 split.
The broker
Tim McMullen is the broker and designated officer of Local Market Brokerage, Inc. (CA DRE #02016832). He has worked in California real estate for ten years, across almost every kind of deal, and is based in Campbell.
He built the platform behind Local Market first for his own markets: the Campbell, Los Gatos and Saratoga market sites, the San Francisco Condo Market and the Eichler Market. Local Market is that platform, offered to one agent in each city.
How the brokerage works
- One agent per city. Exclusivity is a term of the agreement. Once a city is held, its leads are that agent’s.
- 90/10, no cap. On every deal, including the ones the platform finds.
- Supervised. Every agent is licensed to the corporation. The broker reviews every file before close, and commissions are paid through escrow on a broker-signed demand.
- Independent contractors. Agents work under a written independent contractor agreement and carry their own E&O insurance.
